Lisa Holtby trained in the Anusara Yoga tradition.  From 1993 to 2009, Lisa taught for Seattle organizations including Cancer Lifeline, Group Health Cooperative, K&L Gates, and Seattle Yoga Arts; wrote the book Healing Yoga for People with Cancer (Taylor Trade, 2004); taught at CURE magazine's conferences in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Riverside, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. (CURE: Cancer Updates, Research & Education); was featured in the award-winning program The Art of Aging (see excerpts on YouTube); and founded Positive Yoga, a national, all-volunteer event that raised $230,000 for cancer research.

Now primarily a stay-at-home mom, Lisa offers one weekly class for longtime students and is honored to teach private classes for Veterans with PTSD at the Seattle VA. Lisa lives in Seattle with her husband of twenty-three years, David Hlavsa, and their son Benjamin.
